The public boat launch is only 10 minutes away. The cottage is dated but has a nice updated bathroom downstairs. Only a queen bed in the small downstairs bedroom made it kinda tight. "We spent about a week at this lake house and it was so nice how thoughtful the owners are with items they left from seasonings and coffee in the kitchen to endless games for rainy days and my kids absolutely loved the paddleboard and kayak! We did rent the pontoon which ran very smoothly and was a lovely way to see the lake. The house was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Todd was very easy to get ahold of and a great Host.i highly recommend staying here and hope to be back next year! "

"This is a sweet little house in one of our favorite neighborhoods. A short drive to Hagar Park for beaching and sunsets and a great yard for roasting marshmallows. The house is quite spacious for its size and there are 2 spaces for hanging out: off the kitchen and the living room. Beds are comfy and the couch in the living room is big enough for everyone to watch a late nite movie. Thank you for sharing this house with us. "

"Stayed with wife, son, and his family. My grands first visit to Michigan. Loved the trees, the lake, the quiet . . . except for the wonderful thunderstorm! The swans on Sawn Lake were an extra! "Perfect location (close enough to both the beach, main shops and restaurants, and the state park) and everything was just as described. Host was responsive and the home was clean and stocked with everything we needed/wanted (including board games, beach towels, and folding chairs). Would highly recommend to others, especially families with kids. "

"Before booking, we were unsure because we typically stay right on the lake. We weren't sure how much the daily commute to the beach and back would bother us but it was easy peasy with the golf cart! "The property was lovely, quiet and clean- must be fairly new to rental market still needed a couple things. Communication with rental group was very delayed or None existent. I had to directly contact host who called immediately. Met another renter at the pool who stated she’s stayed in neighborhood twice and both times communication was awful. We were never told about a fob needed to get into pool ( she waited 6 hours for a response and told me). We searched the house and finally found it. "
