"What a pleasant place for a large family to gather to enjoy time together. From the peaceful setting to breakfasts around the kitchen table to afternoons by the amazing pool, this property has it all. Located close to lots of great activities, this is a great place for a home base while you explore Lake Michigan, antique shopping, great restaurants, wineries, and more. Highly recommended!"

"Our group of 5 women (all 65+) had a great time. The pool was awesome, and the owner keeps it up nicely. The pool stairs and handrail are just what our group needed. Our host responded freaky fast when we had our one snafu (lighting the grill) so we had no problems at all. That being said, this is probably better suited for a young family due to a few smaller sized rooms and the stairs. We definitely appreciated having the privacy and the kitchen is well stocked, even for this picky group."

"Enjoyed a nice relaxing time with family and celebrating Thanksgiving. The house was awesome, and it reminded us of our farmhouse in Virginia. The big table allowed us to have a wonderful meal. We will defiantly use this house again when we visit."

"We were able to relax on the generous deck. The kitchen was functional for many to visit and work at the same time The large family room with couches was great for watching the World Cup on the huge TV, disappointing as the outcome was. The many bedrooms accommodated our large family very well."

"We were in the region for my daughter's wedding at Hidden Vinyard Wedding Barn. Family and close friends were able to stay with us and it made the four nights feel like one long extended visit with people we don't get to see often. "Great communication, great spot for smores, love the basement, well stocked! if you stay in July the temp upstairs is very hot unless you figure out how to hold the AC temp lower on main floor, and it doesn't return to normal settings after 8hrs on its own. I would definitely come back as the relaxing setting is just right for vaca!"

"We didn’t do a big family vaca this summer. We wanted to do something low key and relaxing. We did a long weekend here. This house is very clean and perfect for us. It was my husband and I, our 3 kids(15, 11, 11) and my in-laws. We had plenty of room and beds to sleep in. The house was very comfortable climate wise. "The accomodations for this stay were amazing! The home is beautiful as well as the property! So convenient to visit many little harbor towns. The only issue we has was the bunk bed rooms. The mattresses on these beds were very unforgiving(especially considering adults were sleeping in lower bunk) the other 2 main rooms and beds were extremely comfortable! So very dog friendly and thoughtful touches and attention to detail. We highly recommend this atay! "

"We love this spot and will come back, either in the Fall to sit around the fire on the patio or next year for Blueberry season. The stars at night were lovely. You're close to Douglas/Saugatuck and can enjoy all they have to offer but return 'home' for quiet evenings and mornings (with a lovely rooster next door). The goodies were much appreciated! On the next visit, we want to tour the artist studio :) "
