"The hotel is ideal for skiing and is essentially a ski in/ski out property with a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the gondola. There is a ski rental at the entrance to the hotel. The staff is very nice. However, the hotel is a little worn and could use some updating. The elevator is small and outdated; have to push down button even when going up leading to much inefficiency with people getting on for both directions. "The hotel was wonderful. The nicest skiing hotel I’ve ever stayed at - the restaurant was superb in the evenings and the bar is great fun with a great view of the slopes. The gym and sauna are excellent too and barely used. The room I stayed in was small but well designed, as you expect for a ski hotel where the rooms are rarely big. The wood panelling was charming and it perfectly balanced the charm of being in the alps with being a luxury hotel. "
