"The hotel is ideal for skiing and is essentially a ski in/ski out property with a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the gondola. There is a ski rental at the entrance to the hotel. The staff is very nice. However, the hotel is a little worn and could use some updating. The elevator is small and outdated; have to push down button even when going up leading to much inefficiency with people getting on for both directions. "Hotel Edelweiss is an extremely nice, clean and comfortable hotel in the quiet, quaint village of Courchevel 1650. The owner, Bruno, was very helpful with any questions and arranged our taxi to and from the train station. Our room was a nice size for European standards, with plenty of room for all our luggage. The bathroom was up-to-date with nice bath products, replenished daily (note: bring conditioner and wash cloths from home if you use these items). The staff could not have been nicer....

"On arrival the information about keys and codes was perfect. The apartment was clean, the location was perfect. A small apartment but very functional with everything you need for your stay. Just one point, internet would have been a bonus and for the cost I would have gladly paid the little extra for this service, apart from that I enjoyed my stay and will be back again.
