"The staff were all lovely and the room was clean and tidy. I think it worth mentioning that in the bathroom in my room the towel rail and the electric shaving socket were both high up - probably too high for shorter people. The beer and evening meal were so so. I was there on a Monday after a hot weekend so beer supplies were down. My first three choices were unavailable. Breakfast was fine. A big problem for me was not the hotel, but that Expedia is advertising the hotel as being at 358...

"Large comfortable room. Good bed. View onto meadow / field. Easy parking. Lovely touches such as lots of different high quality teabags, coffee and hot chocolate plus nice biscuits. Didn’t eat there but pub and restaurant attached with relaxed atmosphere. Staff kindly let me have a pint after pub tills were shut when I came in late. Good value and easy enough to get into Durham for a concert - all hotel options in Durham centre were over £200 for the same night. Would definitely go back. "
