The Manor House Hotel is a stunning historical property with beautifully appointed features. The dining room is very stylish and beautifully decorated. The food is outstanding! We also enjoyed the delicious full breakfast included in our rate. Chloe at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Great all round was perfect and will be back again soon food was unreal the 2 ladies were lovely well friendly veey welcoming even near closing time and still tpok me and my partner in for a 3 course meal it was perfect it was... other staff at reception and bar were very polite and reassuring too which was lovely too was perfect in all areas thanks guys

We stayed here for 2 nights to see Kynren and Bishop Auckland. Our room was very nicely furnished with comfortable beds and fab bathroom. Very happy. Staff were very friendly and next time we visit we will use the additional cost spa facilities. Breakfast was delicious!

Have stayed the last couple of weeks and cant fault the place at all, very helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms - stayed in the cottage room last week and Deluxe room this week, cottage ones are fine and have everything you need.. Deluxe are nuch bigger with seperate seating area etc, well worth the extra if you want a treat...

We enjoyed our stay at manor house. Made the most of the pool, sauna and steam room facilities. The staff were friendly and the area was nice and quiet. The only complaint we would have is that the vegan options (we were really grateful that there were some) in terms of the main course felt over priced for what they were. The chocolate mousse pudding was delicious though!

Superior room not worth the extra.
Room had an adjoining room door that wasnot sound proofed. So second night was not good and woken at 615am by very noisy neighbour. Door needs to be sound proof. As this is sold as their superior room.Damed poor show. We did get discounted pool use.

Lovely overnight stay on Easter Sunday, room was beautiful, clean and comfy. Josh at the bar was such a lovely friendly helpful young man, reception staff very friendly and polite. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options on Menu as well as continental. The Manor Burger was VERY nice. Would definately stay here again, can’t comment on Spa as didn’t use but will do on a next visit.
