"decided to spend a couple nights in Newport Beach area and we could not have picked a better place - as we love crystal cove park (walking distance) and the neighboring restaurants which were a short drive from home base. Very quiet and it felt like we were living in a tree house. Saw some interesting birds on the grounds as a bonus."

"We rented the cottage for elderly relatives who traveled from Colorado for Christmas. They loved it! The view, of course, the kitchen, the lovely bedroom, the comfy couch, and, perhaps above all, the 100% responsive and friendly host. I’ll add from my own perspective that I was disappointed with the dull, tired furnishings and decor. It could use some sprucing up! Regardless, thanks for giving our family a memorable week in our beautiful little town."

"The apartment was perfect! It was convenient to our daughter's family who live in Canyon Lake. Spacious, had everything you would need for a short term or longer term stays with a few hospitality extras provided by the hosts who were absolutely wonderful. Can't say enough about them. "Cute apartment stocked with everything you need. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, which we did not do. Lots of toilet paper and shampoo/conditioner, body wash and soap in the bathrooms. Very helpful. Location was walkable to may shops and restaurants. Lido island is fun to walk around. Host was very hands on and helpful. Would definitely stay again!"

"We really enjoyed staying in the apartment beside Katie's home! It's a lovely place - very comfortable! My only disappointment was that a hot tub was advertised on the VRBO site, but it didn't exist. Katie refunded us $100 and said she will update that on the site. Their backyard pool isn't heated, so it was too cool to use it without a hot tub in the fall. Katie was very nice."

"We very much enjoyed our stay. We left Los Angeles after the Palisades and Eaton fires began and are glad we found this place. The 1bdrm was perfect for our family of 3. The property is right up next to PCH so it can get noisy but it was wonderful to hear the waves at night. We also appreciated the bridge access to the beach, it was convenient. Not much to walk to though but there were stores within a 5min drive away. "
