"Immediately felt at home in this property! All the rooms were well appointed, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. This home is very spacious and heaters and fireplace made it cozy on cool March evenings. The area is beautiful and quiet in spite of the construction nearby. "Immaculately clean and well-equipped apartment, the perfect size for 2-4 people. Beach was a few steps away and lots of restaurants and small supermarket were within easy walking distance. We had a car to visit nearby towns, but free parking was readily available in the middle of Salema. My only recommendation would be for a table fan in the bedroom to keep the room cooler at night. "

"Burgau is a great family holiday destination with a gorgeous beach and lots of restaurants cafes etc. The lower appartment was super clean and a nice size with air conditioning which worked well. It was a quick easy walk to the beach but quiet at night- maybe thanks to the shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was brilliant- lovely big space which was shared with my parents who stayed in the appartment above us.. we may not have enjoyed sharing with people we didn’t know. "The parking and unloading of suitcases was an issue. We had to park in town and walk everything in. We knew parking would be hard but did not expect it to be so challenging to unload suitcases."

"The building maintenance was terrible, rusted refrigerator, window and door framing in rotting state, cracked shower basin causing water to cover the floor. Tile floors badly water stained in most.Pool liner filthy above water level. Stained badly from lack of cleaning. Too discoloured to make swimming enjoyable and therefore the pool was not used. The bbq was rusted out and unusable. The bed in the master bedroom was advertised as 60 inches, was only 54 …an irritation every night. The photos...

"Clean.Balcony with views over dunes to sea and sunsets.Helpful manager quickly resolved problem of new kettle tripping electricity on arrival.Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery , pans, ovenware etc best we’ve ever encountered on vrbo. Quiet location , good parking, walks to town etc. Only downside beds rather soft for us , all preferred firmer mattress but that’s a personal thing. Overall good experience."
