"Casa Belavista is a wonderful property. It has everything. Inside it’s spacious, very well presented and well equipped. Outside it has a lovely large pool, and a large and beautifully maintained garden with a beautiful vista. It’s so quiet and peaceful and a great place to escape and unwind, but accessible to many places such as Coimbra, Lousã and the stunning hill villages of that region. The host couldn’t have been more helpful. We’re so glad we chose and stayed at the property."

"Es un hotel familiar en el que descansar en familia, con unas vistas preciosas y una piscina con muy poca gente. Los dueños muy amables, lástima que no se comuniquen bien ni en español ni en inglés... las habitaciones son “normalitas” pero para justo dormir y poco más suficientes. Lo que menos nos ha gustado ha sido la carta/menú de restaurante que tienen, es muy corta y repetitiva."

"We very much enjoyed the art, lighting, quirky details and history that filled this home. Convenient location across the river (less busy side), but easily accessible and easy street parking. Pedro, the host and owner, was so welcoming and full of details to make our stay in Coimbra and onwards a good one. Truly, a memorable experience! "

"The property was excellent. Very light and roomy. A hidden gem in the centre of the village. The outside space was extensive, with sunshine for several hours a day, even in January. Access to the parking area is via a very narrow alleyway, but we soon got used to it, even with a Skoda Octavia. Would strongly recommend this property."

"We really loved this out of the way find which proved a good base for discovering the delights of central Portugal: Gois with river beach, Figueira da Foz, Coimbra, all in good striking distance (with car) and Denise has plenty of further suggestions. Handy supermarket, nice garden and relaxing place to chill (as my daughter says)."
