"Although we were aware that the hotel was closing we still expected 4 star accommodation as that is what we paid for. The pool and terrace area were in a very bad state of disrepair and the pool area unusable. We asked for an upgrade to a sea view as there road works at the front of the building and therefore noisy but were told ( 6 hrs after asking and having to ask again)that no rooms were available although the hotel was clearly far from busy. Lovely hotel. great staff, lovely restaurant and good food and close to the beach, The area was quiet and about 3 kms from the centre of Estepona which suited us as we enjoyed the walk in but you could get a bus close to the hotel. It had good facilities for both adults and children but would have more as the hotel got busier, "
