"We had a lovely stay at hotel Troya! We were a little apprehensive but actually turned out to be a great hotel! Adults only pool was a hit for us! Room was spacious, clean & modern. Restaurant food was great for what we paid, yes it was it sometimes wasn’t always hot but it’s a buffet so what can you expect! The variety was great and we always had a great meal! "The hotel is set at the back of Puerto de la Cruz, but has good views across the town. There is parking, and at the time of writing, the cost was €10 per night. Although parts of the hotel are a little dated, it is clean, and well run. Staff were very friendly. We had the all inclusive. "Stayed here some years ago, so knew the local. We only popped to Tenerife for 2 nights (yes, it’s perfectly doable as a short break). We had a 3rd floor room with sea view. Bed was comfy and lovely view. Would recommend. "
