"We booked for a one night stay, as we were attending our Aunts 80th Birthday party and had to travel a distance. Our evening meal was acceptable as traditional pub grub and the service/staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was FAB, we had a full English and couldn't fault. "Very impressed. Stayed for 1 night with my 8 year old son as a stopover on the way to Snowdonia. By far the cheapest hotel I could find in the local area, so expectations were low. Impressed though at the hotel, friendly staff at check-in, decent rooms and surprisingly comfy bed! Only downsides - the walls seemed rather thin, the angry man in the next room having an argument with someone on the phone was heard rather clearly(!) and shower lacked much pressure. But all in all, for a cheap night...
