"Ambra Hotel is simply wonderful! A beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Cortina! Shopping, dining and any ski need is all within a short walking distance. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and no expense was spared in the remodeling / building. The staff are very attentive! You must stop and have Matteo, the “mixologist”, prepare a drink for you. He is quite skilled and shares fun stories. Bottom line, it’s a must-stay when visiting Cortina d’ Ampezzo. They have a sister property in Venice as well that we will have to explore on our next visit to Italy. "

I will say that you can hear everything in the halls or the room next to you, so not necessarily quiet and be mindful as well of your noise level when staying there.
