" I'm a senior citizen traveling alone, used to tent camping and roughing it, so when I'm by myself I'm not picky about hotel rooms and initially look for the best prices, of which this facility was one. I couldn't believe the nice condition and cleanliness of my room !!! It was truly miles ahead of the other locations I had stayed for the past few nights. A young man named Ed checked me in - he was helpful, friendly and did a great job. The room was basic and small, but had new bathroom fixtures and as I said, was very clean. The front desk and breakfast area was very nice and clean as well. If I'm through this area again, I will definitely be staying here. It looks like the management truly cares about their customers and the property."

"It’s not really fair to rate a property while it’s undergoing renovations. This hotel is busy updating, and we wish them all the best with their big changes. We have stayed here several times before, and once again — despite the renovation — we found super friendly staff; a clean, comfortable room; and a very cool ambience. When this hotel is finished with its updates, it will be a dazzler. We’ll always stay here when passing through Cortez. "

"A perfect pit stop through the gorgeous parts of Colorado! The house is spacious and clean and just what we needed to get a good night’s rest before another Lo mg day of driving. "

"We enjoyed staying at this house. It was a close drive to Mesa Verde, Canyons of the Ancients and other hikes. We loved having the fenced in backyard for the dog as well. The owners have everything labeled well in the house and take care to be eco-friendly. "
