"The house we stayed in has beautiful woodwork and was spacious but also a bit treacherous with a stairway with no handrail and a step up part way into the living area. "Wow, that first impression when we walked in just before sunset. That impression will stay with me. Every morning we would sit and enjoy our coffees on the front deck for hours. The howlers kept us company a few mornings, so between the view and the monkeys, you couldn’t ask for more. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfy and had lots of storage. Finally, the property managers at Samara and Kristina the owner were all so helpful and kind. I would love to go back one day. "

"This place was absolutely wonderful and I don’t have one negative thing to say. The rooms were clean, large and comfortable. The grounds were lush and gorgeous. The water slide was super fun. The staff especially at the front desk and restaurant were kind, accommodating and very attentive. I travelled with 3 boys ages 12, 10 and 7. I would highly recommend this place in La Fortuna."

"So, I want to be careful when writing this review. I’m not going to slam this place and say it’s total junk. It’s not. It is also not for anyone fancy, or anyone looking to enjoy a place near Sámara, and treat it as a home base. We stayed one night, and that was it. Carlos is a wonderful man who seems to be the manager. Very sweet, and you can tell he maintains the grounds and pool.
