"We stayed for 2 weeks with 3 generations of our family. Was a great fit for all of us. The kids loved the pool, we loved the ability to walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes, or just hop in the car and drive for about 2 minutes and be in town!"

"Pros: Super cute condo. Decent sized bedrooms, friendly neighbors, the property manager is friendly and super responsive (thanks Isamar!), the pool is awesome, good security, kitchen pretty well stocked. Cons: the common areas are small for 6 people, the walk to downtown Samara takes more like 15 minutes on a busy road (it’s about .6 miles), the coffee maker is undersized for 6 guests, and there are no lounge chairs/comfy seating outside. Minimal cleaning supplies available."

"Maria was very responsive and easy to work with. The condo has great views and plenty of room. Beds are comfortable and AC can cool it down in the evening. Close to the beach but there is a good hill to climb on the way back up. Easy to walk to restaurants in town via the beach if interested. Guards at the property are awesome but don't speak much english so bring a Spanish speaker if possibe. Nice and quiet as well with posted quiet hours. We'll be back."

"We had a great stay at Alta Vista. Patrick and Hilda were amazing owners. Tonya and Miguel were great as well. We went turtle watching ( laying eggs on beach and heading back to Ocean), dolphin and whale watching, Sámara trail hiking. We also watched the monkeys in the trees at Alta Vista. The beach and town were walkable distances. Would definitely stay there again!"

"This place was perfect, centrally located and had everything you need for vacation. We were concerned about the corner location on the busy road as mentioned in other reviews but it was absolutely fine. A little noise here and there but never woke us up or was a bother, rather it added to our experience of a bustling foreign getaway. We used a fan that drowned out 99% of the noise. "This apartment and property are well cared for, secure and a short walk down a road to the beach. The apartment has gorgeous views in the main area and primary bed room. There is a river crossing from this section of the beach as well as it is a little far from the main section of town which is great if you want a quieter place to stay but does require a vehicle or quite a walk to get to the restaurants and shopping."

"I’ve stayed here before and I will be back in the future. The condos are beautiful and very large and the neighborhood is so peaceful. I love to walk around the area and see monkeys in the trees. My mini economy rental car had no trouble getting there in the heavy rain, which is rare in Costa Rica. Thanks for the great stay!"
