"Very central property, very convenient for visiting the city. Not quite the 5* we expected but was ok for one night. Our room was down under ground level with an interesting view over gutter pipes and it was quite noisy - both from inside and outside the hotel. We only booked one night, it is unlikely we would have stayed longer than this."

"The Lodge was very convenient to where we wanted to be. The reception staff was really pleasant and helpful. The room was a pleasant surprise. A good size with ensuite and with a wonderful kingsize bed (which was really comfortable) and a quite stunning view of the cricket ground. We both had a really good night's sleep .
