"We really enjoyed our trip to Loreto and to the VDP. This was our first time here and we spent NYE/NY here in a 2bd suite. The food here is absolutely incredible; the best I’ve had at an all inclusive resort (competes with Pueblo Bonito’s Sunset in Cabo). Shout out to Josue at Casa Mia and Jose at the Pool. These servers were delightful and treated us SO well; we loved the attention from them on our vacation. The hikes around the property are good- but fairly strenuous- especially if you’re hiking up to Hole 17 which overlooks the ocean. The rooms do show wear but are spacious. My only gripe is that the mattresses aren’t comfortable and should be replaced. Be sure to make reservations Ahead of time (pre vacation arrival) via Open table for Danzante restaurant, Casa Mia and Casa Club, otherwise you may not be eating here and/or you’ll be eating at 9-10pm. I wish I knew this ahead of time. IMO, the food is best at Casa Mia and the Pool. The buffet is so-so and truthfully, I’d skip Casa Club. Note- the suites state you can do a late checkout, however, when I asked about it, the front desk told me No, bc it was high season and couldn’t accommodate it. While I understand this, I don’t think it’s right to advertise it (esp for the high price of accommodations) if it’s something that’s not offered. We also enjoyed the Spa for massages facials. I really enjoyed Pilar’s services; she did an incredible job with both services and I was so relaxed and truly enjoyed it!"
