Best vacation house
We had such a great time starting here. The only issue we had was finding the house for the first time. It is very secluded which is nice, but difficult when you are getting there for the first time. There were plenty of activities in the house and out of the house for all of us to enjoy. My kids have already asked when we will be going back to the beach house

Great!
Spacious, beautiful home. Well-appointed kitchen. Private sandy beach. Shallow warm clean water out to 50', then deeper and cool - lovely. Kayaks and SUP were helpful, a couple of them need some TLC.

Breathtaking Beauty
This rental was all we could have asked for and more. Located right on a beautiful and very calm beach perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. We spent a day on the water with Juan Carlos's son who dove for scallops and clams and caught fish for as amazing shore lunch. I caught a big Sierra Mackerel trolling from a kayak. My family and I loved this place and hope to come back soon!

Beautiful house!
We stayed just one night on our way to Antonio’s whale camp, and this was a perfect place for our family of 7! The ranch house is so unique and beautiful, it’s right on the main road before you take the turn to San Ignacio. It has beautiful architecture and lovingly designed spaces, with comfy beds and all the amenities; we really appreciated the fresh oranges and tea and coffee. It’s a 5 minute drive into San Ignacio, which is a charming town, and of course the starting point for a whale watching adventure, which I highly recommend! William was such a gracious host, our favorite on this trip, and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Favorite Place in Baja
I stayed here for four days in March 2015 with a group on a spearfishing trip. We arrived in the middle of the night having driven straight through from the US/Mexico border. It was amazing to wake up in such a naturally beautiful area in a house that, despite its opulence, fits right into the scenery. I can't imagine a better house on a better beach than this. The islands directly off the beach are full of wonders if you can get out on the water in a kayak or a boat. The local community is awesome, from Juan Carlo and his restaurant one beach north to the town of Mulege itself with its friendly shops and citizens. I hope to visit this place again in the years to come.

all around gorgeous!!
The house is beautifully furnished and spacious, lots of room for our group of 7. Beds were comfy, everything very clean, everything worked. No quibbles at all. But guys - the best thing is the beach right in front of the house, the clear and clean water, pelicans doing belly flops all day, shells to exclaim about, and the kayaking to the surrounding cliffs to see ospreys and sea stars. So beautiful, this place! Scuba with Dolphin Dive in Loreto was great, some of us snorkeled, burritos on the beach. And right from the house, best thing ever: Juan Carlos picked us up in his little glass bottom boat, we puttered about the islands looking at birds, snorkeled some more, and then his sons made us clam ceviche and a fish stew right on the beach, with fish they had caught as we watched. Absolutely fabulous day, very nice and knowledgeable, well planned and executed, cannot recommend him enough. Lovely people stopped by each day and offered super fresh shrimp and fish, as well as some beautiful rugs dyed with natural dyes. Mulegé is very cute and worth a visit if Loreto feels too far. We felt safe and just grateful for all the beauty in this place, so glad we came!!! Only thing is, real life catches up with you and it’s tough to go back home…

it's fine but i'm not coming back
the property is well the problem is that they charge you exaggeratedly to use the air conditioning knowing that the weather is very hot they just let you use the air 3 hours a night and the rest you have to pay for yourself and it is too expensive

Beautiful place, beautiful location.
Spectacular property in a fantastic location. Gorgeous sunrises on the bay. We kayaked to the islands, discovered hidden beaches. A few very polite vendors bring fresh seafood and baked goods to the house in the mornings. Mulehé is a charming nearby small town with some shopping and other tourist opportunities. It was the perfect spot for a family Christmas vacation.

Beautiful Mulege!
This beach house is one of the most amazing places to stay. The pictures are 100% accurate. It is a wonderful property and you simply can’t beat the view! The water was crystal clear and shallow enough to walk far out into the bay. We loved using the kayaks and exploring the islands. We will be back!

Excelent property for being in the middle of nowhere
Very nice house, very clean, if you like going to baja, this is the perfect place to go. The manager patsy is an excellent person. I wouldnt recomend going in the summer because it can get very hot, the house has slight electrical problems but patsy got in touch with the owner and they should be settled in no time.

Spring Trip to Coyote Beach
We are first time visitors to the Loreto area. We had such a wonderful time on our trip to the Loreto area! The house was a perfect fit for our family, our 11 and 13 yr old loved the shells along the beach, kayaking the bay and seeing all of the dolphins (over 100!) on our day with Alex. Being able to walk directly out into the water from the back porch, sit on the patio and watch the ocean, ample space to enjoy in the house are just a few of the perks of this property. Renting the kayaks and paddle board which are at the house made it very convenient to get out and tour the bay area. The house was very clean, no bugs, very well kept for and ready to go! The property managers were helpful upon our arrival and can be reached, if needed, via a radio located in the home. There is no cell service in the area, however, the wifi worked well. Despite the high winds during our stay, we enjoyed a day on the water fishing with Alex and another day touring with Juan Carlos. We were hoping to see whales, however, there weren't any in the bay or surrounding areas. Per the locals, it was unseasonably cold during our trip, we were in pants and sweatshirts most of the time. We will definitely be back later in the year when the air and water temps rise. ~Colorado

The place was not ready when we arrived and management was unaware that we were going to be there.
We were only availed 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom for 7 days and management required us to replenish. They also complained we were drinking too much water. The sink counter was rotting and warped. Under the sink was leaking which we had to catch and drain periodically. I found the conditions poor and service insulting. We had to clean dog poop from all around the yard before we moved in. This was not acceptable.

It doesn't get better than this.
Bahia Concepcion is relatively isolated and hard to get to - which is why its natural beauty is so well preserved. Homes in this area are few and far between and homes such as the Villa are truly rare. The amount of care devoted to building a home such as this in an area like Coyote is immediately clear. The sunrises over the calm bay waters and the very bright stars in night sky were the highlights. I would also recommend getting JC to cook in the patio after the tour -- the freshly picked scallops and fish were amazing!

Amazing Location & Vacation!
My family and another stayed here between Christmas and New Years and while the weather was not always perfect, the location, house and people where amazing. Out front of the house is perfect for stand-up paddling, kayaking and swimming and there’s plenty of hiking and walks that can be done from the property. Saw tons of whale sharks, dolphins and jumping bat-rays every time we went out on the water. Vendors drop buy each day and sell fish, tamales and other items and the locals are super friendly. Make sure you check out Bertha’s over the road – best food in Baja! Up the road is Juan Carlos’s bar on the mountain side of the highway across from Playa El Burro – great margaritas and band. Right on Playa El Burro is another bar as well. Definitely take the boat tour by Juan Carlos and his son – they dive for shellfish, catch fish and then cook it for you on an island in the bay. Juan Carlos's company is called El Burro Baja Tours and can be found online and on Facebook. The house is everything it says it is! Large, clean, well-stocked, secure and right on the best beach in Baja Sur. Easily accommodated 7 people and two dogs. Les was awesome to deal with – great guy and super helpful. Will be back again soon!

Christmas Dream
I will just say that I agree with all the previous reviews. This house is lovely and in an ideal location on beautiful Playa Coyote. The bay is calm and perfect for kayaking and fishing. Mulagé is charming and not touristy at all. We got to know lots of the local ex-pats and did all the fun excursions with JC that previous reviewers have mentioned. Everyone is so friendly, and Patsi even invited us to play bingo one night with the group which was a blast! We loved buying fish, shrimp, banana bread, and fresh tamales every morning from the locals who would come up the beach to our house. We also went on a deep sea fishing outing with the brother in law (Alex) of the lady who sold tamales, and we caught 20 fish including a huge yellow fin for our Christmas Eve dinner. What a wonderful, memorable vacation!
