"Our experience was superior. Our check in was great. House had everything needed. We got cold and our host Margaret immediately sent someone over. This was a great experience and our host made everything even better. Would definitely rent her home again without hesitation. I had car trouble the day before we left and needed to extend my stay and she readily stepped in to accommodate my family and was truly concerned for our safety. "

"The property is safe and close to the mountain, easy drive to restaurants and outlets. Plenty of room for 5 of us. However, the place could have been cleaner. The bathrooms had hair on the walls, shower drain upstairs wouldn’t drain, carpets could have been vacuumed better esp in corners and under table, the kitchen cabinets and drawers were disgusting and unorganized. Can only park 2 cars in the driveway and have to register another car to park in overflow but the rental agreement and parking...

"House was nice but no mention of tons of stairs to actually gain access to property was deceptive from property details. We should have asked owner PRIOR to making the rez, as we clear on having an elderly dog, who struggled to get up/down all the stairs. Lugging all our stuff in/out was a hardship as well. Mid way thru our stay we had a random person put a key in door and barge into the home with an attitude, saying they were an "associate" of the owner, and we were supposed to be checked out...

"It was me and 2 teenagers. The check in process was easy, owners were responsive, location is convenient, the kitchen is stocked with the basics. The staff at The Villages complex are super friendly and helpful. "

It was pretty cold and snow during our stay so the walkways and stairs to enter the house was a bit of a challenge. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and pool table and took advantage of being close to the Delaware Water Gap for some hiking (although the main road to the park is closed in the winter).
