"Great location, close to many restaurants and all of the supermarkets, good parking. Check in was fairly simple and straight forward, I was on the first room of the ground floor right outside the carpark, I thought it would be noisier but it was fine. Room was comfortable, and well priced. No air conditioning or temperature control so the room was very warm, My stay was in mid November, The TV only had free view and only 8 channels. "

"A neat, clean property in a location very handy to central Whanganui. It suited our group well although it was very difficult to cook for 6 using the small pots - we borrowed some from a friend. Arrived to find someone had jumped the fence and fairly well stripped the lemon tree before we moved him on. "Half house, half museum, we loved Monday Cottage! It is old, but comfortable and full of old-fashioned charm. We stayed five days and still didn't finish checking out all of the fascinating collection of books, records, pictures, ornaments and other miscellanea with which the house is filled.
