"The Riverside is a classic roadside motel which had everything we needed for our one night stay in Whanganui. Ours was a 2-bedroom and both bedrooms were spacious, as was the living area. The hotel is located within easy walk to the main street, along a nice riverside walkway. The hosts were friendly and the room exactly as described. There was a fridge, cutlery and cooking utensils plus stove and microwave if you wanted to be self-sufficient. Also appreciated the helpful information folder...
