"Great welcome, comfortable bed but poor facilities in room. Heating unable to control and noisy. Poor sleep due to road noise and inconsiderate guests next door. Disappointed with breakfast quality."

"Fantastic hotel in a very peaceful setting with great views of Ludlow castle and the gorgeous countryside. Had a beautiful room with views of the castle. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in the dining room with beautiful countryside views. Ludlow town is within easy reach on foot, crossing over the river before climbing the hill alongside the castle. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel."

"We really liked the location and building. Clean and tastefully decorated. Although some patches of wallpaper need sticking down. We collected our delicious pork pie from downstairs. Not keen on the key collection system as the little car park infront is busy and entering the building and then having to get into the keysafe to get the car park key was a bit stressful. We were dissapointed that there was scaffolding on the building (so not a seamless view of the bridge) and roof work starting...

"Property was really nice. We stayed in the Ironbridge room with an amazing view. The host jules was very friendly and attentive and the breakfast was lovely. Bed clean and comfy and the shower was nice and powerful."

"We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."
