"Fishermans Cot is situated in a truly beautiful position beside the River Exe. Many of the roads in the area are very narrow and demading, especially if you are unable to occasionally reverse on meeting a caravan in tow or a wide vehicle. Food at the hotel was good in quality apart from the Continental Breakfast that had a poor and very limited variety of items. Staff were very friendly and attentive; accommodation warm, clean and comfortable and overall value and eg bar prices competitive. "

"Lovely place with really helpful staff and good food. We stayed ofernight to meet friends and celebrate a birthday. Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced and breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. There is a good choice of food on the dinner menu. The rooms were good for the price and breakfast was included. There is a nice deating area in the bar and a separate dining area and a small but pleasant garden at the front with tables etc. Plenty of free parking on site. A great place to...

"My room was directly over the bar area downstairs so was noisey until closing time. All the staff were very polite and friendly. The food was excellent, my only complaint would be that my main course came out when i was only half way through my starter. The room was spacious but cleaning is the biggest let down for this place, thick dust in the hard to reach places and liquid spray stain around the mirror. Overall enjoyed my stay."
