"We had a warm welcome. Our room was on the small side for a twin and there was a huge tv completely in front of the mirror! The bathroom felt recently decorated and was very clean. We had bad neighbours fighting during the night but the staff managed to sort the problem out after an hour.(3-4am!) "Lovely staff and perfect for a one night stop over. The room was a good size and had a bath which was a plus clean and tidy however did look pretty dated and tired in some areas. Loud in general the room was not very sound proof and we heard alot through the walls/from the corridor. The bed was very very comfy though! Squeaky floor boards however and no nets meant we had to keep the curtains shut the whole time. I would happily stay again for one night but not more than that."

"Had 3 lovely days at Brooksyde. A very comfortable house, a home form home seaside retreat. A great base to visit Lyme Regis, Sidmouth etc. Beer is a really lovely little village with a few independent shops and restaurants. The voucher for the next door shop was a nice surprise.
