"Great central location and staff were friendly - doorman David was particularly helpful and kind. The hotel is nicely designed though only minor downside was felt spa area could have been a bit better maintained e.g. cleanliness (tissue in pool) and corridors were a bit flooded and though hotels fault per se, people kept mixing up robes. The rooms are nice and spacious and the stocked complimentary mini bar was a nice touch. Although we never got the chance for the hotels drinks offer we heard...

"Great hotel and location. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and pillow. There was an issue with another guest not respecting others but this wasn't the hotel's fault so I've given 5 stars. We'll definitely stay again "

"Based in building with some character. Had a spacious room overlooking George Square and a really comfortable bed. Very enjoyable stay. Only downside was trying to get hot water in the bath/shower - warm at best."
