"A beautiful spot, the location was spectacular, other than the two mile trail getting to the house it didn’t help that it snowed the night before making it a little interesting getting down the mountain. The only thing I was a little bit sad with the American flag outside. It was very tattered. Being a veteran and a member of a VFW I dispose of it in a the proper way. We all enjoy our stay and it’s a beautiful place. "

"My husband and I, along with our pup, stayed here while we hiked and enjoyed a fall getaway. The property was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was also very clean and enjoyable. We spent most of our time hiking so we didn’t have much time left over to take full advantage of the activities provided by the host. Communication with Tiffany was convenient and easy. She was very responsive to any questions we had. Would stay here again!"

"This house was one of those old spacious houses that make you want to go buy one tomorrow. I especially enjoyed the dinning room and the living room. "Cute little house close to Elkins and literally across the road from the Monogohala National Forest. Went specifically to take the New Tygart Flyer. Food at the “Smoke on the Water “ is highly recommend. "

"What an amazing home to visit and perfect for experiencing a good snowfall. We so enjoyed the amenities -- hot tub / two bathrooms / gas fireplace! And having ample toys and games available for our kids was a huge plus. We would definitely recommend it! "

"This was our second stay at Riverside Retreat and we hope to come back in the future. The cabin is clean, it has a great open floor plan, and the bed is super comfortable. The best feature of the property is the back porch. The view of the river is lovely and we spent hours watching the ducks, kingfishers, and hawks. Our dogs were in heaven, too!"
