"Other than almost being attacked by someone’s loose dog on the roof. The property was very clean and the people were very friendly. The view was amazing the staff were very helpful the room was very clean and neat. Smaller than the picture however still amazing and enough room to move around comfortably. Over all it was a wonderful experience"

The building had excellent and accommodating around the clock security. I even lost the key to the host’s place and surprisingly he drove over an hour to make sure I was safe and secure and arrived CALM :)… My stay was peaceful, fun and unforgettable! "Poor communicator. The night before arrival, we got a call that the parking spot was unavailable, even though it was advertised as having parking. Parking in San Jose is a nightmare. VRBO was of no help. We quickly arranged housing elsewhere. Owner refused to refund fees"

"Property was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Located on a busy street a couple of blocks away from the central park. Street wasn't exceptionally clean, but there are plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby plus several museums and landmarks. Nice staff as well."

"This is a nice little apartment that has an amazing view! We especially liked the easy walk to all the shops and markets a few blocks away. The building if very safe and secure with a guard at the door. They also have many extra rooms to meet in, a pool, and pet park. We didn't have time to use them but looked enjoyed looking around and seeing the interesting décor. The first picture with the umbrella's is one of those rooms in the apartment complex to give you an idea of what the building is...

"5 stars...the listing and photos are accurate. It provides economical lodging in a Fantastic location to explore museums and culture. Walking distance to Teminal Atlantico Norte...improtant to us as we were traveling onward to Cahuita. Several bus routes stop within a block of the apartment if you want to travel around the city. Plenty of soda's and small eateries close by. Great for a few nights to really get to know the history of Costa Rica and San Juan. The apartment meets all basic needs...

"We loved our stay at the Artist Condo in Barrio Dent. The condo was perfect with great space, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room and laundry! Great view of the mountains from our windows. It is in a nice neighborhood that is walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We loved the place, it was great. More geared to Spanish-speaking individuals as no one on-site speaks English, however even basic Spanish will suffice! Note there is no on-site parking, and you will be looking at $20 USD or so a day for parking if you've rented a car. Lovely amenities in the room, really nicely maintained. Easy in and out, and quite safe despite the location being not at all touristy. Close to local markets and a central neighbourhood worth exploring."
