"This was one of our favorite stays on our trip. Nothing beats the view of the ocean and watching the clouds roll in with the church bell chiming in the background. Continental breakfast was great for the price of free. The only thing worth advising is that there are A LOT of steps to get up to the hotel, and with baggage it is not a task to be taken lightly. There is a second elevator in the town that would have solved this problem, but it is still closed for renovation. We managed though, and enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and amazing location."

"A great location to explore Cinque Terre from. The hotel is in the new side of Montarosso. We went at the end of March. It was getting busy with day tourists. I can’t imagine how the area is in high season. The staff was great, helpful and provided a little authentic history of the area. "

"Great place to stay, awesome breakfast! The walk up the hill was a slight challenge… but good training for the rest of the walking in Cinque Terre. Monterosso al Mare was a wonderful spot. The Villa Accini was close to everything in town, including the train station (walking distance) for access to the rest of Cinque Terre. Enjoyed our stay!!! ❤️"

"Incredible hostess, took very good care of us. The bathroom was very clean and updated, best shower I had in Italy. Breakfast was great, they take your order the night before so as not to waste food. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Cinque Terre."

"We loved our stay here! The room is very spacious and has a large balcony where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. The room also has closet space with hangers, a mini fridge, and a hair dryer. The free breakfast has lots of great options including any type of coffee you'd like! If you are not very mobile, this is not the hotel for you (and possibly not the city for you). Getting to the center of the town requires you to go up/down a very steep hill, and depending on what floor you're on there are a decent amount of steps to your room. Google Maps will take you a longer way to get to the hotel, read your email the day before your stay because they emailed out directions for an easier route. The concierge was very helpful with a lot of recommendations for us."

"Hotel Porto Roca is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are brand new - super clean, modern, wonderful bathroom. Our room was a 2 room suite with a large balcony overlooking the sea - absolutely stunning views. Breakfast buffet was very nice with a large selections. Hotel offers transportation to and from main part of town - a very short walk but with luggage transportation is was very beneficial. Highly highly recommend this hotel . "
