"Where to begin.. we have held our wedding at this beautiful location. We've stayed here for several days and it was so relaxed. The rooms really surprised us. "We stayed at this beautiful older apartment and wonderful hostess, Marika. What made it perfect is that we were out of the city, but could easily take public transport into the city. Also, we had a pool where we could stay cool and enjoy the beautiful old trees in the gardens. There were some little problems with wifi, but Marika solved these problems very quickly. "The property was Clean, well kept and maintained. The caretakers did a great job. The layout was good for a large group/family. Everything was well stocked and provided for. It is obvious great care goes into this property and the location is good to explore Chianti and Florence. We had a great time and all was very nice. "The villa is fine, albeit rustic, A/C does work well. Irene is the host and she is wonderful and very helpful. The most difficult aspect of the villa is access. For those who drive (and I think you must) once you leave the main road it is quite challenging. All in all a very nice place to stay and fairly advertised. It needs better signage for access."
