"I stayed on 19th December and was impressed by how beautifully the hotel's ground floor had been decorated for Christmas. (The Christmas tree on the top of the first short flight of stairs was the first thing to catch my eye.) There was no queue at Reception and I was delighted to receive an upgrade to the twin room I had booked. "Our experience and stay was very good, however the breakfast was a shambles! No cutlery, no food, tables full of dirty plates and staff stood around chatting. No baked beans, handheld browns, croissants no glasses for the juice. The food was fine if you could get any. Some users walking around in PJs and bare feet all by the food, I actually think when seating people would staff not say that footwear is needed, I don’t want to eat breakfast looking at some ones filthy feet"

"Lovely overnight stay at the marriott Cardiff-easy check-in. Shame only 1 out of 3 lifts working when we checked in but by the evening 2 lifts were working. Room spacious and lovely comfy bed and pillows. Easy walk for all of Cardiff city centre bars, restaurants and shopping. Lovely breakfast (self service) in browns restaurant . All the staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend a stay here"
