My mother actually had a medical emergency while we were staying there and they quickly got her a cab to the emergency room a few blocks away and allowed us to extend our reservation while she was being cared for. They went above and beyond for us and it's a really nice and comfortable hotel even if you don't have an emergency!"

"One of Portofino’s finest hotels. Our private, luxurious, high-ceiling, large room with a balcony overlooking the sea was a total treat. A fairy tale. A short stroll to the bay of Portofino where all the action is on the waterfront. The staff were so friendly and kind, they really took great care of us. We hope to return one summer to take advantage of the hotels own private beach. "
