"The Borgo is situated very far from the main road, with a small scary road that we did not dare drive in the dark. There were tons of bugs, we got eaten alive our 1st time at the pool, we only stayed 20 mins. Our initial room was awful, next to reception, where groups of people hung out. But the manager allowed us to choose a better room, thankfully, as we were there for 5 nights! "We were at Borgo Paradise for nearly a week after new years and it was wonderful. I give the facilities and the staff top marks, with a few deductions for the old beds and couch that they hope you might confuse for a queen bed in a "bedroom" that is a living room in what was supposed to be a "three bedroom" apartment. If such an apartment exists I never found it in the week I was there. No harm done, they had other apartments available. It only added 600 Euros to the cost of our stay. A...
