"A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. "This is a beautiful, but old building, with spacious rooms, a and high ceilings. But it is dark. Only one window that does not let in much light. So used our lights a lot. The property is in Trastevere, which is popular and busy, but our room was really quiet. The front desk/proprietor was extremely helpful in making a restaurant reservation and booking a car to the airport."

"Had a nice stay. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Apartment was clean. Property is beautiful, I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. My only suggestion for people looking to book would be that you might want to rent a car. It is technically walking distance to centre of town in Siena but it’s a bit of an awkward walk uphill. "
