"Arrived very late, flight delays and then a road closure forcing a substantial detour. Thankfully my room card had been left out with a useful note and I was able to access the room. It was cold, no curtains, and couldn't figure out the heating but the bed was warm and that was all I cared about! Shower okay in the morning, Job done. Thanks."

"Location for Stansted Airport good, in country though. Nice room, bed & shower but dinner is only up to 8:30pm and no breakfast available for early flights as it’s only served from 8am and needed to leave by 7:15. They did offer a takeaway breakfast but it was poor (they don’t normally offer it) and needs to be organised properly for it to be beneficial to the customer."

"Lovely welcome by the guy on the bar, showed me to my room. Room was spacious and bed was comfy. Bathroom was nice and clean. Reading the reviews I’m surprised that no one mentioned it before, but I was in the room which the cheetah wallpaper, there were 7 individual windows all with blinds, so each window had to have the blinds pulled. The hotel is on the market square which is surrounded by lights so at night time, the blinds do not fully cover the window so I felt like I was in a church...

"Its not what I didn't like staying at the place. As the place is very reasonable in price concidering the places around the area. For short stays its good. Comfy bed shower and toilet facilities. Place is clean what more do you want. I noticed people want everything for a cheap price. Simple rooms with a bathroom. The couple running the site are lovely and friendly but if booking to stay please read what your needs are. "

"I booked a guest room but after arriving at the property an hour and a half later, the contact number I was given is turned off, and there is no one around. I’m stranded on the road at midnight."
