"Harpers Ferry is a must visit, and the Carrot Top Cottage was the perfect location to be completely immersed in the history and quaitness you'd expect to find.The hosts are 2nd to none and quick to act when situations out of their control occurred. The power outage literally set the town back into the early 19th century. We will definitely be visiting again, and would recommend to coupmes of all ages."

"What a lovely, cozy, clean property! The location was in the heart of Harper’s Ferry. Everything advertised was exactly as described, even nicer, inside and out! Cathy, our property manager was communicative and helpful. We will be back!!"

"The house is very well preserved classical duplex home on a road with plenty of parking with easy walking access to Market street just a couple blocks away. Its ideal for our type of stay when we want to check out the city."

"Overall we loved the place. The beds slept great even the sofa bed. They had a nice thick memory foam for it. The grounds were beautiful and we had a garage to pull into to get out of the weather. The only complaint one of the girls had was the shower was not for big girls. It was a tight squeeze but we totally enjoyed it and will rebook in warmer weather. "

"This was a great place to stay to getaway and have privacy. The Host was so kind and went out of her way when I was not feeling well. It was extremely clean and you can even use the pool and spa. "The staff and property were wonderful. Everyone was so helpful; it was nice to be able to walk up to the restaurant and see the amazing mountain views with fire pits and lookouts. It was an added surprise to see the home decorated for the holidays! "

"The cottage was everything and more than promised. We were vacationing and exploring DC - very convenient to the Metro and it was great having a “home” to come back to in the evening instead of a hotel room. Craig was responsive but gave us our space. We would recommend staying if you are looking for something in the area. You won’t be disappointed. As a bonus, the dogs were very friendly and made us laugh."
