"We loved this cozy cottage just off the shores of Lake Huron and will absolutely be back. The walking trail and beach are just a short walk down the steps to the lake and the cozy fireplace inside made for very cozy nights with a book and games. It was clean, well stocked and the hosts were great at their communication! If you're not a fan of taxidermy, this is not your place but we loved it and can't wait to come back in the winter when the snow is flying and we can walk the trail in...

"The road is a very busy route for local commuters which was a concern for us with our dog traveling with us. We kept her on a leash all of the times when we were outside. This is a very cute and well maintained rental property."

"The house was secluded so that was a huge plus. Plenty of parking as well if you have multiple cars. Communication with host was lacking until the week of the stay. That aside, very nice stay."

The home had all we needed with laundry, hot tub and fire pit, well-appointed kitchen, outdoor games, and even toys and items needed for the little ones. "Nice large home. Extremely clean! I always take my own cleaning things and didn’t need to clean a thing. Loved TV’s in all bedrooms. Perfect location to see all this area has. Hosts respond very fast. Beautiful view of the water…..:)"

"Nice cozy old house. We enjoyed the charm of the home. Kids enjoyed the air hockey table. Wished the weather was better to enjoy the fire pit. Only concern was the upstairs hallway floor is really squeaky. Makes it hard to move around at night without waking someone. "

The property pictures included those of a lakefront. There was no lakefront or even a lake at all that could be seen from the property. "Nice house and area! True to what listing showed. Close beach access was great! Only thing I would have preferred is window coverings on kitchen window and back door. Property is close to the road and I prefer window coverage especially at night. Just a personal preference for me."

"Our family had a perfect week. Everything in the house is excellent quality construction, very impressive to accomplish on a island with limited resources. The property is very large, impressive, peaceful, beautiful, among other flattering adjectives. The views from the house are honestly one of a kind. "The sunset views from this house are absolutely breath-taking! The house had plenty of space for family to gather as well as space to sit in a corner and read with an amazing view. "The Bunkhouse was clean, comfortable and full of character and charm. It served our needs well. zi would offer two suggestions to the Owner/Host. 1. The recessed landing at the top of the stairs is dangerous, especially at night. It should be the same level as the hall and flooring leading into the bathroom. 2. The main level bath and commode need floor work too. I felt that a seat belt was almost needed to use the commode, due to the slanting of the floor and toilet! We managed, but it should...

"We had a very nice and cozy stay with our little family and dog. The little touches and super clean house make you feel right at home. The only downside is you do hear the family upstairs sometimes (that is disclosed in the description) so it feels a little less private. Still it’s a very nice stay and we had a great time. "
