"House totally as described but slightly spooked by the monkey butler as we entered by mobile torch light. The house is obviously still used to some extent as fresh food was found in the fridge. The kitchen oven and extractor were filthy. All dishes and pans had to be washed before they could be used. Carpets and floors had not been hoovered, cobwebs also noted. You have a problem with flies in the grey double bedroom to the extent there were at least 20 dead ones on the carpet by the time we...

"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"We stayed at the Pool House only last week, and had a lovely time. There were 3 reasonably sized double bedrooms all with en-suite which was a real plus. "Very homely, beautifully decorated with interesting art work throughout, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds.We thought it might be noisy because the trains were near but it was not at all- a very quiet and peaceful location with great walks nearby. The town of Alresford with it's independent shops and plenty of choice for eating out is lovely. We ate well and reasonably at The Bell as recommended by our host. We visited Winchester using the cheap and efficient Park and Ride system. Wonderful...

"We had a fantastic stay in Petersfield in the townhouse. The location is very convenient to walk into town, very close to the train station and easily accessible via car. The house has everything you need and is very spacious and clean. The back garden is very calming and beautiful to look at. Will definitely look to stay again when we visit family. Highly recommend.
