"Beautiful old building sympathetically converted to a hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location makes the Angel a perfect stop for a short visit. The added bonus of Bills restaurant in the hotel is ideal. And a very good breakfast. The only negative is the street noise. Businesses in the side lane setting up tables and chairs made a very noises wake up call very early in a morning. Not the best when on a weekend break and wanting to wake up a little later than normal. Over all...

"Really lovely place to stay, not what I was expecting at first but I have zero complaints about it!! The staff were fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and the shower controls were mindblowing; the only downside is the pillows/mattress aren’t too comfortable, but everything else about the property is fantastic. "Fantastic accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Detached and cosy feel. We had milk and fresh orange juice waiting in the fridge with a large variety of tea and cereals. We only stayed 2 nights but would be perfect for people staying longer…There’s even a washing machine."

"Our host Jenny was brilliant. There had been some kind of miscommunication on the booking, where other hosts would have created an issue, Jenny welcomed us and all was well. The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure. Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help. Great place to stay if you're riding a motorbike, or wanting to visit Thruxton. "
