"Was a unique experience. No reception. No bar. No Dining Room. No on site parking. Communication was excellent with door code and security keys and mobile number in case of emergencies. The house was very welcoming with a Christmas tree and carols being played and as the house has a "no shoes" policy it would have been more convenient to have a dedicated area for changing footwear rather than the very tiny lobby area. "Requested an extra pillow and it was given to me within the hour. Friendly staff. Clean room. Very close to train station and also to promenade. Fantastic location. Would highly recommend. "

"Perfect friendly welcome from the lovely girl on reception, was transfered from a local crack den called Stifford Clays farm due to double booked so was so relieved to stay in such a nice hotel with friendly pleasant staff, would certainly stay here again"

"3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond."

"Lovely room. Easy access. Proper Hot water and heating unlike many places these days which was a Godsend. Lovely breakfast room and the whole place beautifully clean. 24 hour soft drinks and snacks available which meant my 3am snack fest eliminated my hangover. Thanks Jo & Buzz! See you next time :)"

"I arrived could not find the accommodation, went on line and discovered that the accommodation was permanently closed. I had to pay for alternate accommodation and have not had any contact from Expedia "

"Total disgrace - they take your money then claim they are not a hotel. No reception and appalling service. Don't even consider booking with this bunch of total wasters!"

"Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience."

"We had to book at the last minute due to an emergency family vist in the area,Tracey who greeted us on a late arrival was very friendly and went out of her way to get us some food as the kitchen was closed when we arrived,it was much appreciated.lovely grounds to sit in on the outside and in.we had a dinner the next evening at Mickys dinner just 10 min up the road wich was recommended to us,nice friendly staff and nice food."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. "
