"We booked this place for a one-night stay to check out the Berkshires. This was pretty much centrally located from everything we wanted to visit. We chose this place for the country feel rather than the big city type hotels. The place was a little outdated but had the more of a home feel. There is some updating due there, but it wasn't a disappointment. We will book again when we visit the area to go hiking. Plus, the lake view was ok, and the water looked very clean. I will say this is an excellent spot if you're an outdoor person for fishing. Kayaking etc. "

"Staff was extremely friendly. The last morning we were there this sweet woman in the breakfast area told us that the kitchen was going to be closing and asked if I wanted anything else. It was about five of 10. I said eggs and she went into the kitchen and brought me out eggs, ketchup, salt, and pepper and a dish right to my table so super sweet, my husband and I will definitely be coming back "
