Days Inn by Wyndham Charleston Historic District

2.0 star property
6.2 out of 10, (1004)
"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

The Ansonborough

4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (1379)
"The staff was lovely and the building and rooms are unique and beautiful. The only negative was that they over scent the rooms. Don't get me wrong, cinnamon is my favorite smell, but it was overpowering, to the point that my eyes stung and I felt like I could taste it. The staff was nice enough to put an air purifier in the room which did remove the smell."

The Meeting Street Inn

3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1110)
"The hot tub was not really a hot tub, I think they say it's heated to maybe 95 degrees, but the water felt COLD! That was disappointing as it was a key reason we chose this accommodation versus another. That said, the staff were very friendly, we were very happy with the breakfast options, and the location was absolutely perfect for us - so walkable to everything we wanted to do!"

"My daughter and I came to Charleston for a long weekend and our stay at the Ryder was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and the location was GREAT! It was convenient that they offer beach towels among other things for day trips. Also, we used the $10 daily credit to get some rice pudding dessert and it was delicious. I highly recommend the Ryder and would gladly stay here again."
