"The location is awesome 4 mins walks from Tonsai Pier and all the food choices you can think of within 5 mins walk. The staffs are friendly and helpful. But the truth is the property is very dated. Not sure if the banyan room is better but I stay in garden room is quite worn out. It has more tropical rustic look to it. Given that you are on an island that has limited resources and highly humid environment in all these years. I can understand it's really hard to upkeep the property in pristine condition. But I really think the bathroom should be remodel. The breakfast is nice addition but after the first morning, the following 2 I went out to get breakfast myself definitely recommend Mango garden and Patcharee in the neighborhood. If I have time, I would go back to the hotel breakfast for fruit and coffee. It definitely serve the purpose, but I just can't eat that everyday just my personal choice. All and all, it is a very convenient location and doesn't need a lot of walking compare to other accomodations on the island but it is a bit rundown with a wonderful view when you walk out your room. "

"So, The name ‘Resort’ is a little bit ambitious, but we stayed for just under a week and enjoyed every minute of it. As others have said, it’s located at the quiet end of Long Beach. The garden is really well tended and the overall feel is quiet and calm. Nearby there are choices for eating out, or perfectly good eating in. Rooms are cleaned daily and breakfast was freshly prepared. Beers are cold, all the staff did a great job whether breakfast, bar, dining, reception, garden, room attendance. Thanks. We had no issue at all with availability of beds, and having showers on the beach after a swim is great to freshen up. The massage service is a delight and clothes washing also 24 hr turn around - very handy. Is it the Four Seasons? Of course not. Is it a small establishment that makes you feel comfortable, right on the beach and nearby to a collection of shops and things, absolutely. Would I stay again - without question. "

"This its beautiful resort that has gorgeous grounds providing natural beauty. The cottage we had was modern, clean, with plenty of space. It was not lavish but in good taste. The staff and service throughout the resort are among the best of any place I have stayed. The only caveat - is that a good number of rooms are built on steep hillside. The hotel will provide shuttles to and from these rooms, but you should check if you have any problem with steep streets and hills (albeit well maintained.) The prices for food are a bit high. But you can walk to the nearby village for excellent local food that isn't costly. The food at the resort, however, was excellent. Tip is to eat at the pool bar for dinner to have a great view, and have pretty much the same food as in the restaurant."
