"Arrived at the hotel for a birthday weekend for me and the hubby, staff were very friendly and even upgraded our room. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna are one of the main reasons we booked the hotel and didn’t disappoint had it to ourselves most of the weekend. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice from continental- cereal, fruit, ham, cheese etc and then a gorgeous full English breakfast. "We loved our stay at The Somerville. The staff were always so helpful and friendly, the food was delicious and the rooms were beautifully decorated. Despite the hill it's built on, it is in easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs and a convenience store, and has good transport links to other parts of the island. "

"Great location lovely view of bay hotel was amazing only downfall at hotels was staff sometimes had to wait 10 to 20 minutes to get served at the bar and on check out nobody there to settle bar bill of £5.85 for a pint of beer and got email to say I'd left the property without paying lol if someone was there at reception i would have sorted my bill out but had to leave as taxi was waiting ✋️ 😀 "

"Staff were personable once we became acquainted and our experience in Bohemia restaurant was outstanding. Towels were changed on a daily basis which in an eco friendly world may be seen to be excessive? Overall, it was a pleasant week’s stay."

"We were delighted with out stay - from the check-in to the Manager (Michelle) checking in to see if there was anything we additionally needed. From Benson and colleagues at the door through to the restaurant - one of out best stays ever. Great team and can recommend the Sunday Roast lunch as well - just perfect."

"We were moved to the OGH and were throughly spoiled. We had a King sea-view room which was wonderful. The bed and bedding were first class, very comfortable. The hotel was immaculate and staff were all impeccable. We loved our four days there and wish it could have been longer!"
