"We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. The gite itself is cosy and the fact that it is near the castke with great gardens is an absolute plus. The interior is a bit outdated on some occasions an could do with some repairs, but our stay was very much ok. If i visit...

"Le Cairn Cottage is in a quiet rural location in a very convenient position for travelling around the island. This is a spacious property with the benefit of undercover parking. We were very comfortable in the rooms and the kitchen was adequately equipped. There was a good supply of bedding and towels. The well-kept garden added to the appeal of this property. The management were on site and quickly (in 2 minutes) responded on the one occasion we had a problem, supermarkets and a nice pub/restaurant within a 2 minute walk.
