"Nothing good about this motel, its below average, bed was very hard with rubbish pillows, tiny tv, the shower was mostly cold as the water pressure was not sufficient to activate the water heater and when it was it only lasted a minute or two. The noise from 2 busy roads and a 24hr servo next door was such I used ear plugs to sleep."

"When we booked/reserved this hotel earlier in the year, we didn't realise it would be during the Loy Krathong festival. However, it was a blessing in disguise as the front of the hotel was where the parade passed through not just on our first night but our second night too. We got to experience the festival from the comfort of the main balcony/patio area for guests. On top of this, the hotel gifted us a Krathong to put in the river, which was a 10 minute walk away. "Stayed 4 nights at Banthai Village in the deluxe room near the pool. It is a cozy boutique hotel away from the bustling streets yet safe and walkable to old city, Chinatown and the night markets. Excellent hotel to enjoy quiet sleep, greenery and staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel provides mosquito repellent but still got bitten outside the room especially during rainy days. Floor in the room can be slippery but slippers are provided. Water pressure from the shower head is inconsistent....

"The property is nothing like what is advertised on their website. Our room was old, outdated with cupboards fully apart. The beds were so hard that sleeping on tthe floor wpuld have been just as comfortable. The manager was accomodating and moved us to another room but the water was cold and their were droppings in one of the beds from animals. We moved to another hotel the next day."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Changmoi House, the staff is friendly, breakfast was good, and room was clean. We really enjoyed our balcony overlooking the street and temple. Only drawback was communication as it was difficult to talk to anyone at the hotel before we arrived when we needed to confirm our late check-in, luckily it all worked out but would have been nice to get that confirmation earlier. "

Best views for Loy Krathong parade

However, it was a blessing in disguise as the front of the hotel was where the parade passed through not just on our first night but our second night too. We got to experience the festival from the comfort of the main balcony/patio area for guests. On top of this, the hotel gifted us a Krathong to put in the river, which was a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is in a very convenient location, quiet and relaxing. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. The downside would be the bathroom smells a bit damp. Otherwise, all good."
