"Nice breakfast and pleasant people couldn't make up for this old 1970's bunker like barracks with beds hard as rock, primitive conditions akin to camping. Entire room painted over in glop yellow; walls, furniture, drawer handles, everything. Place was so old the tile floor looked like it had been grouted with bubble gum. "I stayed 4 nights. The first 3 in a very small room barely big enough for a twin bed with a shared bathroom. This was pleasant after I borrowed a broom to clean the floor and even though there wasn’t hot water because it was very hot outside. The fourth night I added on and needed to change to a room that was double the price. "Nice stay in the middle of the Old city of Chiang Mai and still quiet. All you need in the street, a bar, restaurants, souvenir shops and massage salons. If you ask for no room service they will still leave 2 bottles of water and toilet paper in front of your door every morning. The buffet breakfast was fine too. I would stay again. "
