"Great space for a family- we visited our child who was studying for a semester in Florence. We shopped at the local Coop grocery store (5 min walk) and made many meals. We had a group of 6 staying and there was plenty of space. 20 minute walk to city center and about 40 minutes walk or bus ride to train station. Safe and clean neighborhood. Close to the bus lines. "Our experience mirrors those of others who have given high ratings. Cristina is a very thoughtful host, and the apartment is in a good location and comfortable. It is all on one level except for a small step in the bathroom. One of the most helpful things Cristina did was to point out on a map where the two closest bus lines stopped and assure us that the bus takes credit cards. We stayed 9 nights and took the bus only seven times -- Florence is a compact, walkable, and lovely city. ...

"After travelling for 12 days in and out of hotels, it was a breath of fresh air to stay in this wonderful apartment situated 25 minute walk to the city center. After spending the days visiting the sites, we went back to our "apartment ", made an antipasto and had a glass of wine.
