"The sofa bed was so uncomfortable is was impossible to sleep for more than a few minutes at a time and as soon as I sat on it, the arm fell off, having been glued back on many times. On our last morning there was no hot water available so a day of travelling home with no shower. Reported to the venue but no response."

"The Residence is in a restricted traffic area, so you can't directly drive to it without a permit. Our navigation system was not able to find the address and we had to enter a different one nearby and then walk to the residence (about 500m). The rooms are very nice Italian style and the staff is very friendly, including the restaurant. The food and service in the restaurant was great."

"Convenient hotel for La Daille lifts and funicular train. Supermarket and tabac opposite. Good for a family holiday. Not a luxury hotel by any means but clean and well equipped rooms with comfy beds and kitchenette. We had breakfasts and most dinners here no problem. Would recommend for a reasonably priced hotel for family ski. "

"Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-)."

"AVOID AT ALL COST. Still awaiting our deposit to be paid back, hotel just doesn’t reply to emails. it says sleeps 4 but honestly it is 3 at best. Blankets and pillows are terrible. "Went to Lê jardins as part of a group of 8 and booked two rooms. This was for a ski holiday. Rooms were ery very basic, even for ski apparthotels. "I had a very comfortable stay in this apartment located on the 13th floor which has a lovely view towards Solaise and the main part of Val d'Isere. The apartment had everything required to self cater including a 4-ring hob, microwave, dishwasher, small cooker, a very large fridge freezer and many other kitchen conveniences.
