"Great time"

"The location is great in relation to I5, food options, and tons of shopping. We spent about a week here playing at Great Wolf Lodge during the day and sleeping at King Oscar. I love that there is a Safeway down the street so I could grab some food staples and use the fridge/freezer and microwave to eat food we love instead of spending a fortune on food from resturaunts and fast food that isn’t as good as homemade. Check in was easy and the woman at the front desk was lovely. There were residents who seemed to live at the property meandering and were very kind and respectful to us. There was a lot of road noise from I5 (our room was facing the freeway) which provided great white noise for us. My family loves cars so we enjoyed the sounds of cars going by. We didn’t hear a sound from neighbors so I think the sound of the cars was a great bonus. Overall it’s definitely a “you get what you pay for” stay but I found the pros to outweigh the cons."

"Clean, easy to find, and reasonably priced hotel. Downside is parking lot is shared with another hotel and the parking lot is quite full as the day turns to evening, at least it’s free. "

"The staff is what makes staying here pleasant. Each and everyone are helpful with a smile. The building is old but well maintained with updated rooms. Safe and quiet. "

"This is a really fun, unique place to stay! The building is very beautiful and kind of feels like you’re staying in an old mansion. We stayed in one of the king suits, and it was perfect. They provide earplugs to help block out the trains at night, we didn’t need them though (I grew up near train tracks so I didn’t mind it, and my husband said he didn’t hear them as soon as he fell asleep). There was a communal fridge and microwave near the ballroom on the second floor - which was perfect to store our takeout leftovers for the night, the bed was comfortable, the shower was updated and super nice, and the suit was very spacious. Chari, who checked us in and out, was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We definitely recommend staying here! "
